Frank Goldsmith, Jr., a Titanic survivor who later lived near Navin Field (Tiger Stadium) in Detroit, never took his children to baseball games because the roar of the crowd reminded him of the screams of people dying in the freezing water. There’s survivor accounts recalling how horrifying and extremely quiet the silence was after the thousands of people in the water all died and stopped screaming all around the same time.

Following the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp, American troops felt an urge to personally punish the camp's guards. What exactly transpired still isn't known. Dachau concentration camp, located in the state of Bavaria, Germany, was the first concentration camp established by the Nazi regime. Horrible Video of Russian streamer Stas Reeflay killed his pregnant girlfriend on live stream by locking her on a frozen balcony while viewers paid him to abuse her and continue live streaming with her body for another 2 hours. He was sentenced to six years in prison.  Stanislav Reshetnyak, known online as Stas Reeflay, faced legal consequences after the tragic incident during a livestream, where his girlfriend, Valentina Grigoryeva, died.  The event occurred in December 2020, when Reshetnyak, reportedly at the behest of a viewer's donation, abused Grigoryeva, leading to her death from head injuries. Initially believed to have died from hypothermia after being forced to stay on a balcony in cold weather, further investigations revealed the cause of death to be head trauma.  This case has been a focal point in discussions about the dangers of "trash streaming," a trend where streamers perform extreme acts for donations.
