Al-Salihi’s sniper skills were honed by none other than the Russian military, and he put them to use in the battle against ISIS. His journey took him from the Battle of Jurf Al Nasr to the rugged terrain of the Makhoul Mountains in northern Iraq.

Tragically, Abu Tahsin al-Salihi fell in action during the anti-ISIS offensive against Hawija, Iraq. His funeral, held on September 30, 2017, marked the end of an era—a testament to the bravery and sacrifice of a man who epitomized the spirit of a hawk-eyed warrior.

Unfortunately he was killed by ISIS on September 29, 2017.
Iranian thugs killed him. He was shot in the back of his head on a mission. Just after he gave interview and said he served on the Iraqi side in the Iran-Iraq war. Saying that means traitor these days.
Like a german saying he fought communists or whatever bad thing in ww2, NAZI label instant.
