Analysis of the video suggests it is genuine, but experts said it was not possible to state when or where it had been filmed. The last image of Maura Murray, who disappeared in New Hampshire in 2004 after draining her bank account at an ATM.  On the morning of the disappearance, Murray informed a nursing school faculty work supervisor via email that she would be away for a week due to a family death. Contrary to her message, her family confirmed that no such death had occurred. Sometime after 7 pm, Murray crashed her car into a tree. Seemingly uninjured, she spoke to a local bus driver moments after the crash. The bus driver offered to call for help. She asked him not to call the police.  The bus driver continued home and called the police. His call was received by the Sheriff's Department at 7:43 pm.  Just minutes later, the police arrived at the scene. However, to their bewildered the female driver was nowhere to be seen.  The police noted that her car had hit a tree on the driver's side of the vehicle, rendering it no longer drivable.  Inside the car, the police off...

Robert Gould Shaw, a distinguished American officer during the American Civil War, served in the Union Army and led the first all-black unit. Upon his death, Confederates did not return his body. Instead, they placed him in a mass grave alongside his men.  This act was intended as an insult for his leadership of black soldiers.  Nevertheless, his father openly expressed pride in the knowledge that his son had been buried alongside his troops. He stated: "We would not have his body removed from where it lies surrounded by his brave and devoted soldiers. ... We can imagine no holier place than that in which he lies, among his brave and devoted followers, nor wish for him better company. What a body-guard he has!" Shaw’s leadership had a profound impact on the future of the Union Army. His leadership was so influential that it inspired many African-Americans to enlist in the Union Army. This was a significant contribution to the Union’s cause, as it helped to bols...

On February 22, 1942, a Japanese soldier on the Burma front during World War II fired all the bullets from his machine gun into Sam's intestines, liver and kidneys. Seeing him dying, his commander Major General Cowan immediately took off his Military Cross and placed it on his chest because the Military Cross was not given to a dead soldier. When Manekshaw was injured, orders were given that all the wounded should be left in the same position because if they were brought back, the speed of the retreating battalion would be slowed down. But his orderly Subedar Sher Singh carried him on his shoulder and brought him back. Sam's condition was so bad that the doctors did not consider it appropriate to waste their time on him. Then Subedar Sher Singh pointed his loaded rifle towards the Australian doctor and said, " We have carried our Saab on our shoulders while fighting the Japanese. We would not want him to die in front of us because you did not treat him."...

Throughout the course of live theater, there have been a number of cases of actors accidentally taking their own lives during scenes.  In 2016, actor Raphael Schumacher tragically hung himself while reenacting a hanging scene on stage.  The stunt left him in a coma, and shortly afterward, doctors declared him clinically deceased. Schumacher changed the play's script at the last minute, the directors of the theater company told Italian newspaper Il Giorno: "The original monologue included a fake gunshot but he eventually decided for the hanging -- without telling us." The incident occurred during an interactive performance in Pisa, Italy. Schumacher was performing a monologue from Frank Wedekind’s Spring Awakening alone in a courtyard in front of just one spectator. The performance ended with Schumacher placing his head in a noose. The actor was discovered unconscious and seriously oxygen-deprived by a second spectator, reportedly a medical student, who ru...

A photo of Abu Tahsin al-Salhi, an Iraqi veteran sniper who is credited with killing over 384 ISIS members during the Iraqi Civil War, receiving the nickname “Hawk Eye.” Al-Salihi’s sniper skills were honed by none other than the Russian military, and he put them to use in the battle against ISIS. His journey took him from the Battle of Jurf Al Nasr to the rugged terrain of the Makhoul Mountains in northern Iraq. Tragically, Abu Tahsin al-Salihi fell in action during the anti-ISIS offensive against Hawija, Iraq. His funeral, held on September 30, 2017, marked the end of an era—a testament to the bravery and sacrifice of a man who epitomized the spirit of a hawk-eyed warrior. Unfortunately he was killed by ISIS on September 29, 2017. Iranian thugs killed him. He was shot in the back of his head on a mission. Just after he gave interview and said he served on the Iraqi side in the Iran-Iraq war. Saying that means traitor these days.  Like a german saying he f...
