Soviet soldiers openly sexually harass a passing German woman near the West Hall section of the Leipzig Hauptbahnhof central railway terminus. As Allied troops entered and occupied German territory during the later stages of the war, mass rapes took place both in connection with combat operations and during the subsequent occupation. The victims not only bore the brunt of revenge for Wehrmacht crimes, but they also represented an atavistic target as old as war itself. The execution took place during the Bloody Sunday in Bydgoszcz, Poland, 1939. Bloody Sunday  was a series of killings of members of the German minority that took place at the beginning of World War II. On September 3, 1939, two days after the beginning of the German invasion of Poland, highly controversial killings occurred in and around Bydgoszcz (German: Bromberg), a Polish city with a sizable German minority. The number of casualties and other details of the incident are disputed among historians. The Nazis exploited the deaths as grounds for a massacre of Polish inhabitants after the Wehrmacht captured the town. I

In 2007, archaeologists made a fascinating find in the ancient city of Shahr-e Sukhteh, Iran, often referred to as the "Burnt City." Among the unearthed remains was a woman estimated to be between 28 and 35 years old at the time of her death, with an intact artificial eye in her left eye socket. This remarkable discovery is recognized as the world's oldest known artificial eye, dating back to 2900-2800 BC. Serial killer Robert Hansen, responsible for the murders of 17-30+ women, would abduct his victims and fly them to his isolated cabin in the Alaskan mountains, which was only accessible by boat or bush plane. He would then release them and hunt them down like wild animals using a knife or rifle. The worst part is he'd let them run away for a while so they'd think they had a chance of escaping Hansen was captured in 1983 and sentenced to 461 years' imprisonment without the possibility of parole. He died in 2014 of natural causes at age 75.

In 1955, Zahra Aboutalib, pregnant at the time, hurried to the hospital for a c-section but left abruptly after witnessing another woman passing away from the same procedure. Experiencing pain for the following days, the discomfort eventually ceased, and she just continued with her life as if everything was normal.  However, nearly 46 years later, she was diagnosed with a tumor. Further examination revealed that the tumor was, in fact, the calcified remains of her unborn baby, a consequence of an ectopic pregnancy where the fetus grows outside the uterus.

The earthquake that occurred in Japan with a magnitude of 9.1 was on March 11, 2011. This devastating event, also known as the Great East Japan Earthquake or the 2011 Tohoku earthquake, caused widespread damage and triggered a massive tsunami that led to a nuclear disaster at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. The Great Hanshin Earthquake Disaster of 1995 was one of the worst in Japan's history, claiming the lives of over 6,400 people, making more than 45,000 people homeless, and causing more than $100 billion in damages. In 1973, two men went to police, claiming to have been abducted by aliens.  The police thought they were lying, so they left the men alone in the room with a secret recording device.  To their surprise, they continued talking about what had happened and how terrified they were.   On the evening of October 11, 1973, 42-year-old Charles Hickson and 19-year-old Calvin Parker told the Jackson County, Mississippi, Sheriff's Office they were fishing off a pier on the west bank of the Pascagoula River in Mississippi when they heard a whirring/whizzing sound, saw two flashing blue lights, and observed an oval-shaped object 30–40 feet across and 8–10 feet high. Parker and Hickson claimed they were "conscious but paralyzed" while three "creatures" with "robotic slit-mouths" and "crab-like pincers" took them aboard the object and subjected them to an examination.
