The Goliath frog is the world’s largest frog found in Cameroon 🇨🇲 and Equatorial Guinea 🇬🇶




Goliath frog, which is 32 centimetres in length, can live up to 15 years in the wild. It can live up to 21 years in captivity.

It grows up to 12.5 inches (32 centimeters) long and can weigh up to 7.2 pounds (3.3 kilograms).

According to New Scientist, Goliath frogs build their nests in streams, which seems to entail shifting rocks that weigh up to two kilograms.



The Goliath frogs are threatened by hunters who hunt them for food. They are also preyed upon by snakes, Nile crocodiles, Nile monitors, among other predator.
